This is a personal blog, favourite memories of my time in sales and marketing and other interesting stuff. For most of my career I worked for well known IT brands like Dell, Xerox, Dixons, Amstrad, AST, Tektronix, Staples, and Stone Computers. Recently I worked for an agency specialising in global marketing efficiency, nowadays I have my own consulting business called TrueTalk. BUT in the background I have been developing Gotradelive a cloud based platform for SME trading and networking.

Apostrophe apology
It seems that getting ones apostrophe’s right is important to quite a few people, so I have added the one missing from my Blog title.

Apostrophe No-No: In all types of promotional material, I note an alarming increase in the apostrophe's (incorrect) usage to indicate the plural. Examples such as "Potato's 10p per kilo" and "Hundred's of Laptop's at rock-bottom prices" drive me NUTS. These displays of stupidity actually put me off buying the promoted products or services. Who's to blame for this abuse of a beautiful language and profession? ......
Copywriter's!!!!!!
This post is a joke, right?
one's apostrophes is correct.
No joke, it wasn't right then..surprising number of off line and email complaints!
